The culmination of this experience was in a European tour that ended with the World Music Competition in Kerkrade Holland.
In his first year at The Ohio State University, Mr. Day earned the distinction as the best overall freshman percussionist. It was during the following summer that he joined the Marion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps finishing in the top 12 in their class. Enthusiastic about the experience, Mr. Day chose to become a Marine musician. Mr. Day then finished his Bachelor’s at Ohio State University and began his own music company where he fulfilled roles comprised of composer, arranger, adjunct faculty, clinician, seminars, band camps as well as his private studio.
